Leland Wine & Food Festival, June 8, 2013, All Day Event

Kick off the summer with Michigan’s 28th Annual Leland Food & Wine Festival this Saturday at the Leland Harbor, June 8th. Leland Wine & Food Festival

Rain or shine, come out and enjoy a day near the Leland Harbor and Leland’s historic Fishtown, tasting wines from local wineries and specialties from local restaurants and vendors.

There’s also live music from Live Wire with Ron Gertz and Elizabeth Sexton Rivers, in the park all day and plenty of beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands.

The band stage will be on deck overlooking the festival (on top of the brand new bathrooms, in Fishtown).

You know what that means right? Great acoustics, and not as loud as in the tent! Great food, wines and good company.

No need to purchase advance tickets – just show up rain or shine at the big tent in Leland’s picturesque Fishtown district.

Admission is $15 and includes an etched wine glass and two tickets for wine tasting. For more information, call the Chamber of Commerce at (877) LELAND1 or (231) 256-0079.

Additional tokens are available and age 10-21, or non-drinkers are $10, and under 10 is free. Tickets are available at gate, Two Fish Gallery and The Riverside Inn in Leland or online.
