Enjoy an afternoon filled with tastings, local food vendors, and live entertainment in the vibrant setting of Eastern Market. It’s a perfect opportunity to experience the rich flavors and creativity of Michigan’s craft beer scene while supporting local businesses.
BARC works with the Village of Empire to host the Empire Asparagus Festival. This early-spring event is the kick-off to northern Michigan’s growing season and is aptly named for its asparagus theme from start to finish.
The Hops & Harvest Festival is a celebration of the Harvest and Northern Michigan’s beautiful and bitter hop plant. Hops can be found earlier in the season strung-up all throughout the county and have become an agricultural staple in the region.
