9 & 10 News – Proud Partner of BARC

Bay Area Recycling for Charities (BARC) is, by definition, an organization whose purpose is something other than making a profit. Our goal is not only to be financially successful, but to be successful in terms of helping the environment. We try to accomplish this goal through our recycling services, educating the community and supporting local charities. However, getting the word out on the street about our mission can be challenging. That is why we are so grateful for our partnership with Northern Michigan’s News Leader – 9 & 10 News.

9 & 10 News has been an amazing and positive media source for BARC. With the help of their talented media consultants, we have been able to increase visibility and educate more members of the Northern Michigan community on our recycling services than ever before. Now, everyone from the shoreline of Lake Michigan to Alpena and just North of Grand Rapids to Sault Ste Marie, knows there is a smarter way to recycle mattresses, air-conditioning units, televisions, refrigerators and more.

Of course, as with any of the Bay Area Recycling for Charities partnerships, we do our part too. In exchange for 9 & 10 News’ help with our advertising and education efforts, BARC helps them with their recycling efforts. We have set up a recycling system at their facilities, recycle a mountain of VHS tapes and more. We are very proud to be partners with Northern Michigan’s News Leader. As Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” Thank you 9 & 10 News and Mane Content.
