Join Us in Building a Greener Northern Michigan

Summer is one of the busiest seasons at BARC, and we’re excited to spend the coming months helping communities across Northern Michigan recycle more, reduce waste, and keep valuable materials out of landfills.

From e-waste collection events and recycling drives to community festivals and educational outreach, our summer calendar is packed with opportunities to make a positive impact. Whether you’re dropping off old electronics, learning more about responsible recycling, or visiting us at a local event, every action helps create a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Beer Festival

June 13, 2026 | 1 PM – 6 PM

As thousands of visitors gather to celebrate Michigan craft beer, BARC will be working behind the scenes to ensure recyclable materials are collected and diverted from the landfill. Sustainable event management plays an important role in reducing the environmental impact of large festivals.

Sustainability Starts with Community

Every item recycled, every electronic diverted from the landfill, and every conversation about sustainability helps create a stronger, healthier community. We hope you’ll join us at one or more of these events this summer.
