Your Support Grows Our Community

Each time you support BARC, you’re creating positive ripples across an entire region. Thanks to your generosity, in last year BARC was able to provide more than $23,500 worth of in-kind good and services–including compostables, waste services, and fundraising event support–to other local nonprofits. With your help, we’re bringing the good full circle.

Why Give to BARC?

BARC fills a critical need in our region. No other organization focuses exclusively on recycling hard to dispose of materials, supplying compostables to local businesses and hosting zero waste events.

When you give to BARC, you enable us to do three things:

  1. Expand the capacity and reach of our recycling services. Your donation allows us to bring more recycling services to more people across northern Michigan.
  2. Support other local non-profits through low or no-cost zero waste special events. Because of your support, every year we donate more than $20,000 worth of in-kind waste reduction services to our local non-profits.
  3. Expand our region’s understanding of how we can positively impact our environment through principles of reduce, reuse and recycle.
