From Organic Waste to Nutrient-Filled Soil

A critical part of creating a cleaner, greener region is tackling the growing problem of food waste. This can be done with the process of composting. Every year, each American throws out about 1,200 pounds of organic garbage that can be composted.

BARC operates a several acre composting operation in Fifie Lake. On this site we’re able to turn X pounds of food waste back into strong, nutrient-filled soil.
